🌍 Expanding Confidence Through the Wellness Garden
The Wellness Garden allows us to expand what First Saturdays make possible.
By creating a safe, accessible, real-world practice space, the Wellness Garden will:
Extend confidence-building beyond SD Teams
Welcome people with disabilities with or without service dogs
Provide practice on ramps, textures, and inclines
Support people who are newly disabled or redefining independence

It works well because it follows a 3-part progression:

MobilityDog is an advocacy-driven organization helping people with disabilities build confidence, access, and FUNctional independence.
Since 2018, we’ve supported over 28,000 people through service dogs, hands-on education, real-world practice, and community connection. We believe disability should never limit access to life — and we advocate for equal access, not special treatment.

Supporting active service dog teams who meet on the first Saturday of each month to build skills, confidence, and public access readiness.🐾 PAWS that Empower & WAG Workshops
Practical, confidence-building workshops that support daily life with or without a service dog.🌍 Advocacy in Action
Real-world learning, education, and practice that help people navigate public spaces and speak up for their needs.🌍 A.R.F! Accessibility Resource Fair
Join us for A.R.F! A celebration of accessibility, empowerment, and FUNctional independence for all! 🌟 Whether you’re living with a disability, are elderly, or temporarily able-bodied (TAB), this event is for YOU. Experience a day of adventure, learning, and belonging, featuring a special performance by The Los Angeles Rollettes at 1:00 PM! 💃✨ Come dance with us under the springtime sky! Promoting barrier-free access for all on the First Saturday in May each year.
What We’re Building
The Center for Excellence & Wellness Garden will be a permanent, accessible home where people can safely practice real-life mobility, learn advocacy, and grow confidence, together.
This space will expand our programs beyond service dog teams to support more people, more often.
Why It Matters
When people have space to practice, they gain confidence.
