MobiityDog Newsletter November 11, 2025
On Veterans Day, and everyday, we at MobilityDog want to express our deepest gratitude to all the brave men and women who have served our nation.
Your dedication, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to our country are an inspiration to us all. André Thomas, US Navy Veteran
We are especially proud of the veterans within our own MobilityDog family, like André Thomas, a U.S. Navy veteran. André's journey with his service dog, Rasta, beautifully illustrates the profound impact of these partnerships. Rasta was more than just a service dog; she was a steady presence who helped André regain independence, confidence, and calm during challenging times. Their bond, rooted in trust, patience, and unconditional love, gave André a sense of freedom he hadn't felt in years.
MobilityDog's mission embodies this spirit of renewal. We don't just train dogs; we change lives—one partnership, one heartbeat at a time.
Currently, we have five veterans involved with MobilityDog, and we have referred over 30 veterans to other service dog organizations.
This Veterans Day, we honor André and all veterans for their service. We are committed to advancing functional independence for people with disabilities through service dogs, empowerment, and education.
